View Full Version : "Night Rider" Lights

Anybody ever seen that movie Night Rider? We made this light bar that you mount on your fender. There are 16 LEDs that light up like the "Night Rider" car. The set up is weather resistant, I ran it on the back of my mx400ex, and put it through jumping, mud etc. The picture doesn't do it justice, you really have to see it at night. Thought you guys might find it interesting. Let me know what you think!

knightrider was pretty cool show back in the 80's. There were 2
cars ( not in every episode ) "Kit" was the good one that you saw in all the episodes with the red led light in front. "Car" was the evil one, it had a yellow led light in the front, it showed up in a few episodes...........Yeah I watched a lot of TV when I was a kid !

Man, if you want to be cool, you MUST have black plastics on and all black frame to pull of the Night-Rider. If you're going to go cheesy, you gotta go ALL THE WAY. You gotta go hard-core cheese, or else it's just gay.

You don't have to go so far as a leather jacket and turn your collar up, but you can't have the Night Rider "Kit Quad" without it being black.

That somes standard for the E-Ton Viper. I have a vidoe of it in black and white on my video website in the dark :)

how do you hook it in to make it work? Would you be willing tomake me a couple for a quad im building, or do you know where i cold get it? and does it look as good as that YFZ if i had two of them?

I'm gonna guess and say you need a battery for this to work? I wouldnt mind running em on the shee :D

Runs right off your battery. We actually manufacture them, you can pm me for details. The lights on that yfz are different, this light strip is bendable/formable you can mount in anywhere you like. The LEDs light up sequentially going back and forth. Its pretty cool at night. I could get a video of of it if you guys would like to see it.

You could wire it up for the banshee, it should run off the stator.
