another Jet question

My second Jet question, the stock jet size is 148 now I seen the kits with the needle and the jets is it hard to change the needle or should i just charge the main jet and how high should i go 150, 152 I know you guys say just chage them as you see fit but I rather just chage it once so can some one tell what size with these mods White Bros Pro Mag full exhaust and Uni filter with no lid

I changed the jet on a 400ex before (easy) but never messed with the needle and any other adjustment that i might need to know will help

Try 155 main for now, its a little colder outside now. The needle is simple, you dont even need to buy anything, just move the clip down a notch and you should be set. Just take apart the top of the carb, then unscrew the little arm that pulls the slide up, then pull out the needle and move the clip down one notch.

is the top part the rounded triangle plate with 3 screws?
