is there any thing wrong with the rear shock? and does the bottom end switch threw all the gears right way and no cracks and leaks?

Oops .... sorry, i never anwsered your questions .... as far as i know there is no cracks or leaks in this engine .... It was running at one time and a valve broke off in the head .... Let me get back to you on that tomorrow ....

i just checked UPS its about $15 to ship the bottom end and about 8 bucks to ship the shock. im deff interested i just have to talk to my dad about it.
BTW what kind of bars are those and do you have a aftermarket exhaust too? and how much for the front shocks too thanks

I got a pic of the rear shock .... The shock seems to have the gas inside it ... its definetly hard .... How could i tell ... ill send you a picture in a few minutes .... maybe 10 bucks a peice for the front shocks ??? I think there dominator bars ... im really not sure ... lemme check on that also. It actually never came with and exhaust so ... yea but ill send that pic in a minute ...

h/o u were running the quad with out a pipe system on it . wow no wonder u broke a valve there was no back preasure.

he said that he never rode the quad because of the broken valve. but thats what probley happend.

Look ... i bought this atv from a friend, he had the exhaust for it but it wasnt included in the price. i wanted to buy a hmf, and it had a cobra i think ....

It's kinda difficult to explain without typing a whole page here.

But, what it amounts to, is if you're not running a good exhaust it causes backpressure by not allowing the exhaust to properly exit the cylinder. The headpipe and muffler allow the exhaust to properly expand as they leave the cyilnder.

If you don't believe me, try taking your exhaust pipe off, and running without it. If you do this, you'll notice that it will constantly backfire. And when it does, you'll see a large flame shoot from the port. This is because the excessive backpressure is not allowing the exhaust gases to be purged from the cyilnder.

oh i wasent questions what you were saying, i just like to know those things. i have done that when i rebuilt my 250x over the summer. sounded kinda funny lol.

Honda TRX250ex, Right now the engine is in my boss's storage .... I had it at his shop and we moved to our new shop and the other guy working for him at the time put it on the trailer which is storage .... But where going to get there trailers over my vacation so i can unload them ..... So it will be about a week before i can get pictures of it .... As for everything you want .... can you send me and email telling me what you want and the prices shipped. Then i will get you pics of that stuff ....

my dad is letting me buy the bottom end and the rear shock.
does the bottom end have the connecting rod? has it been opend? and could you ask your friend if it went threw all the gears with out skipping or anything

The connecting rod?? You meen the rod that goes to the piston ??? Yes it does ..., I dont belive it has been open .... My friend is out of town right now, he wont be back till feb 2 ... But let me ask my other friends and see what he said to them about it .... Thanks ....

So you want the frame with a-arms and swing arm or ??? List what you want on the frame .... or if you want just the frame and steering stem .... Where do you live ?? Do you have paypal ??? I have someone locally wanting to give me 250 for the frame , aarms and steering stem. I think he wants a 350x conversion ...

I am still trying to find the motor .... If you want to pay for the rear shock i can ship it out and as soon as i find the motor i can ship that out ....

yeah sell the frame to that guy thats what i was going to do is the 350x motor in it but i can just find a frame on ebay
