My wife has a 2001 Wolverine w/stock tires and I want to put aftermarket tires on it. There aren't many if any 23---12 tires so I figured I'd go to either 24 or 25 inch. Do you lose much power if I went to a 25 or should I just go to a 24?

Gears will be alil higher. I would say you might lose alil power in your higher gears, but you will be going faster on topend.

I had a wolverine and went from 23's to 25's. I went 25x10x12 in the back and 25x8x12 up front. I had a pipe on mine, and didn't notice any power loss.

A good tire for the Wolverine is the Holeshot ATR or the Mud Lite. You don't want to put a heavy mud tire on it...that is where he'll lose the most power. I put aluminum rims on mine too, to help off-set the weight of the bigger tires.

I have 25 inch Mudlites on my Wolverine, they hook up really well.

As for the power loss...only performance mod on the Wolvy is a filter, and I did notice a slight drop in all around power, but it had a little higher top speed.
