450r steering stem on 400ex?

does anyone know if a stock 450r steering stem will fit on a 400ex? my friend has his 450 all decked out and will give me the stock parts for really really cheap, and my steering stem is bent to crap.

It could work, but you would need the 450r top stem mount and bushing.

I know the stem on 400's work fine on 450's with a bigger bushing. It really all depends on whether the 450 mount will bolt up to the 400 frame.
