Well my new PEP's wont be here till monday so last weekend i went to Waterman, IL to the indoor track with some guys that we ride with. Local Midwest A-class riders like Travis Jones, Zach Baker and Chad Wienen. Since i couldnt ride i brought my digital camera, well it was cold inside and the screen cracked, luckly i took some pics before that happened. heres a pic of his new race quad for next year.

Awesome, thanks for sharing those! His bikes always look great. The orange/blue yfz he rode last season and in Carpe Diem 2 is probably the best looking bike i've ever seen.

I read somewhere else that he got two 05 models for this season, not sure why though.

Because #1. the 05's are cheaper, #2. he said " why get an 06 mine already has everything a 06 would have and more."

I've wondered the same thing! All I could even guess would be the R fits better than the YFZ.

Not to mention some of the big engine builders are pushing the Honda. Baldwin is a given since he is helping Tim, now Curtis Sparks is pushing all his sponsored riders to go Honda. For one, it is reliability at 55+ HP. Another is that the TRX is based off probably the best MX 4 stroke motor ever built. Contingincies don't hurt either. Yamaha has not stepped up to the plate in my opinion. Not to mention, MX and TT nationals were won on RED. Borich and some of the other GNCC pro's did well on the Honda, even though they were unable to de throne Ballance on the YFZ. Just my 2 cents

Isn't chad weinen's left foot gonna hit that pep resevoir can being so near to the foot shifter?
I wonder how much of that quad chad wienen paid for? Are sponsers that generous to give a rider that nice of a quad?

Man, I was readin the latest dirtwheels today and they did a review on the new 06 R and of course good ole' YamaWheels said that they think the 450R is still missing something, I was just thinking to myself...... ya know do you people not see that all of the top pro riders and winners ride Honda, when will they ever learn lol.

is it just me?or is that left front tire mounted on backwards.

Yes it is mounted backwards. I'd say a big part of top racers switching to Honda's is money. Between sponsorships and contingencies why wouldn't you switch?
