2.7-liter V6 and a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The power sets you back in the seat!
JK, I didnt buy it for power, I bought it for fuel economy.:p
Recently I added a light/push bar on the front and some baha lights, also some full length step bars. Also put my bike rack on the back. Im good to go baby! :D

4x4's in that body style are fairly rare. if you can find one they are either well used or restored. even a well used one will sell for a pretty penny. my brother picked this one up for about $3k it needs alot of body work but the frame and drivetrain are all excellent. if the motor is a true LS6, it was well worth it.

Na.... mustangs are not real cars.... and a 302 is a wussy motor.

That vette has a 427.. now thats a motor.

Um.... the 71 Chevelle did not come with a 502 ci the highest engine it came with was a 454 ci producing 450 HP.

Anyone can just throw a crate motor in a car, that is not very impressive.

I was just joking anyway.

pretty clean teg, nice selection of wheels, those are the SE "special edition" wheels. watch out for the header wrap, on a ceramic coated header it can hold moisture and make it crack.

my crx, 90 SI, with a DOHC ZC motor, DC sports header, and chipped ecu. i need to get an exhaust to have it run better but i cant find one i like and one that isnt a big tip. this is an old pic with the wheels, now its back to stock and on a set of limited white del sol/civic wheels. about to trade for a set of 99-00 SI wheels for it.best part about it, 39mpg with the ac going.

Yeah thats why I'm selling it. I need more room inside. Probably gunna take the money and buy another sled. or plow truck. G/F needs a sled though so probably do that. I got the civic for more room and stuff. It gets awsome gas mileage so i cant complain. Never thought i'd buy rice but everything is brand new. Me and my buddy just finished building it and he wants to buy our boss's 53 chevy pickup and build that. My civic has Jackson racing supercharger, painted sublime green, 156891 miles on car, just bought a new engine, its has full syder body kit, 17in Konig rims, full custom cold air intake, DCsport headers 4-2-1, custom dual outlet exhaust, custom sound system, diamond plate and mirror under the hood and decklid, street glow, interior led's. Extreamly clean. Had it at a few car shows and won. God we put so much time into it.

The truck looks good man. But, just to help you get some ideas, I think you need to get a new grille and lights. Also, some clear parking/turn signals and some clear corners would set it off. Top that off with some nice rims and you'd be set! :bandit:

fullsize trucks do look good lifted but they just wont go the places a mid sized truck will. the whole reason for havin tires lift is to go offroad and many ppl who lift fullsize trucks dont use them for the intended use. dont get me wrong i want a F250 powerstroke fx4 4dr shortbed and id like to put a 6inch lift on it and some 37s but it would never leave the pavement.

I'd love to race ya, but of course i've got two problems. #1. no rearend at the moment and #2. don't have 5 g's. So its looks like im out.

Just out of curiosity what kind of race are you looking for? 1/4, rolling start (like most supras owner want), or a cannabal like race.

A car that takes upwards of 1000hp to break it in the 10s is not exactly a capable car. The motor is extremely good but the overall platform of the supra isn't one of the top preformers.

No, its not a GNX.

The #1 way to tell if it was a gnx or not would be on the front grill where "buick" is present on mine, "GNX" would be present on a GNX.

Love American Muscle, as of now I am driving a 99 Dakota R/T w/ a mopar magnum 360 engine, 3:92 gears(stock option), and a 46RE transmission. I have a K&N FIPK kit installed, Mopar 2bbl intake manifold, 52mm Throttle body, and a spintech exhaust. I am about to install: cam, heads, and some other parts and hopefully lower my time in sig to the 12's:devil: I'll get some pics later.

If ya'll take a challenge, don't race on the streets. Street racing is irresponsible and dangerous. I may of only seen one wreck in my short life span but it was enough to make me think twice before ever street racing. Please do us all a favor and keep the cars on the track.

okay well let me start off by saying sorry for coming off a little cocky about the race. I just hate when people start talking bad about my car on the interenet when they have no clue what they are talking about and know nothing about my car. They just hear the word "supra" and automatically start bad mouthing it or try to tell me that I dont have one. Anyway, I am a big fan of cars and actually, as hard as it may be to believe, I really dont like imports. I like a couple of them, including the supra, but I am really a fan of clean older camaros and some other old school cars. And as for taking a picture of it with a banana on the hood, or whatever was said, I am sorry but I dont have any bananas on hand at the moment. Could I use some kind of vegetable or something? Would that satisfy you? How about.....................uh a half eaten apple, would that work? ;) haha no but seriously I'll try and get some pics later. I'm at work right now.

Well if I had bought the supra after the movie then maybe you could say something, but that is not the case I have owned two supras, a 98 and a 93 both mkivs, and both were purchased before the movie. And as for the movie goes, I'd rather sit in the corner of a room and stare at a blank wall for and hour and a half then watch that sh*t. So, as far as your comments go about my car, it would be a sad thing if I sat here and got worked up about some kid playing on his computer. Anyways, I have wasted enough of my life talking to you, and if you have a fast awd car on the road great have fun with it but Im from texas and wouldnt waste my time going all the way to NJ to race. Honestly, I dont even drive the car that much because I am always busy. I can barely find time to ride my 450r.

I'm at work right now.

what have you worked for 3 days straight?:huh

the TT(twin turbo for you idiots) supra came with 320HP STOCK!!!!

the one problem with supras is traction...... for qtr mile races but i garauntee you on a 50mph roll up to 165+ the supra will kill ya, and as for cornering? hahahahaha.

most eclipses and talons etc are ricers, SORRY unless there done right

there a couple of japanese cars that are bad *** the list is as follows.

RX-7 TT
3ooZX TT
Supra TT
3000GT TT
STI
SKYLINE TT(good luck finding one)

I have a great idea that can shut a lot of people up. You wan to talk about how fast your car is and how it will blow the doors off of some other car.... post some time slips. That is what talks. I get so sick of hearing the b.s. on here from people that have never ran a real race in their life. H.P. numbers mean nothing, 1/2 mile times talk. You can have a 1200hp car, but if it is only running 11's then it is stupid! I read post after post saying how this car will beat that car and such...... post time slips or shut up. Real racers run the tracks... wanna be's talk crap.

t67supra, thats a pretty sick collection you got there. i take back everything i said. just the whole 5 grand or no race deal you threw out made you sound like a wuss bag high schooler trying to make everyone think they have a fast car. whats done to the car other than the obvious beast t67? got a dyno sheet of it? if nothing else...it looks fast haha

and if u dont mind me asking...what do you do for work:eek2:

thanks. we bought it last spring and have just done some running around town, its not a show car, but we like it. we havent taken it to the strip yet, but we are thinking about going to a strip this spring with some friends for a day at the track. I also think that we might take it for a leg or two of the Power Tour this spring. It also may be for sale soon, depending on if we buy another toy.

Hey thanks for the compliment. I would have thought the same thing you did about the 5k, thats why I apologized for coming off like that. Anyhow I'll see if I can't find some time slips and dyno sheets. She pulled about 708 at the wheels the last time it was on the dyno. Also as far as my work goes...........well I do a lot, but right now I am focused on my dealers license for used cars. There is money to be made just about anywhere if you look hard enough.
Also here is a list of whats done to it.

sounds like there is a lot of money invested in it. did you do all the work? i had a buddy that had a 1800 hp dyno queen on nitrous. put more than too much money into it. the car wouldnt catch traction even at 70 if you tried to lay into it even with 355's out back:eek2: we actually built the whole car out of his garage. the turbo was a 1.28 A/R i believe, it was stupid big. i found it at a salvage yard for planes and helicopters. it came off a 6 cyl copter motor, we bought 4 intercooler cores and i welded up custom end tanks to make a 4 row 31x 18 intercooler, it was bored over 4 mm and destroked 2 mm it turned around 13 grand all day long with no problem it was a sick car. i think i have a dyno run on my comp somewhere where he is smoking the tires through the whole run with like 5 people sitting on the back of the car.

if you claim you know cars then you should know that the trans am is always faster than the camaro, because of the ram air. even on the SS camaro the ram air is not funtional, but on the t a it is.

ram air is an option that comes with the WS-6 suspension package. Not all trans ams have ram air. You can't compare a WS-6 equiped T.A. to a Z-28. Not the same equipment. And this is coming from a TA guy, I have had 3.

kawasaki_ridah
01-08-2006, 01:01 AM
yeah but i thought the WS-6 just had the ram air?? and i have always thought the t a was a better car

Rdhanded2

WS-6 is actually a handling package they add Ram Air in with, and hands down I think the T.A. is a better car. This is just my opinion, and a lot of people disagree, but I think they look SOOOO much smoother.

I'm building my truck now. PCM tune is the only mod so far on a stock 327. Same pic as in the other thread. Exhaust, CAI, and gears in the future.
