250ex question?

i got a 2002 250ex. i want it faster, so if i put an 11:1 wiseco piston, big gun complete exhaust, cam, port the head, and put a k&n filter and jets in it, what all would it beat? how close to a 300 would it be.


i have a 400ex too, so im not jus wastin my money on the 250 tryin to make it fast

well youd smoke blasters, probly get very close if not beat 300s, come close to warriors,smoke lakotas and mojaves, smoke anything lower cc than you.

Are you talking about beat other stock quads with your tricked quad? Probably, but wouldnt think it'd beat a modded 300ex.. HO..

Where did you buy this?

Big gun does not make the complete pipe they only make the slip ons right now. 250ex's dont have cams they have pushrods on the rockers, but powroll's valve train kit acts as a "mild cam". As for porting I think your local shop can do that for you.

You will definatly be able to beat a stock blaster, but a 300EX you are going to have to be a real good rider to beat. A lakota and a mojave should be no problem. A warrior will be the hardest to beat.

im gonna port and polish it myslef. we build drag cars so we have the machinery to do it with. oh yea, ive won 3 championships down here n bama, so i can drive ight. :D
