99-04 plastics to 05 plastic conversion

Has anybody done a old style 400ex plastic to new style plastic conversion, and if so how are is it to do. Please post pictures also.

i was also planning on convering to new plastics on my 400ex. in the new atv action they have an article where they took a older 400exand put 05 plastic on it. they sai it was not an exact match but it was close

you just need the mount brackets off an 05 model to make it work. i have been thinking about doing it when i need new plastic.

save money and buy a used or new take off 450r headlight. thats what i did when i smashed my stock one and it fits right up.
