Something Leaking From My quad!*HLEP*

i took off my clutch cover to be powdercoated and something started leaking out of it. it looks like oil to me..Could it be tranny fluid? i doesent look like tranny fluid to me. Ok thanks.

taste it... maybe just sludge (trans oil mixed with dirt) just an idea. or compare smells...

well depending on what machine your riding its either gear oil, or motor oil. Did you drain the engine before you pulled the cover off ???? And even if you did drain it theres gonna be some fluid still in the cover and around the clutches. Sounds normal

You are an idiot if you taste that sh*t. If u took off the clutch cover and didnt drain the oil, then its oil thats leaking.

Don't laugh to hard now,i recently drained my oil and i put the funnel on some kind of holder thing,and i put my drink right beneath it not thinking,i go to take a sip and i spit it all over my quad,ye thats right,the excess oil in the funnel drained into my fuggin drink!!and no it doesn't taste frictionless,it tastes exactly how it smells!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
