Outerwears airbox lid

OK I purchased this and the mounting system sucks. I saw 4punks has the filter thing attached to his lid. How did you attach it? Glue?

i did like 4punksdad. just use a heck of a lot of silcone. i cut a huge hole in the lid, all the way around it, then siliconed the outerwears to it. you have to be somewhat patient with it, though, because the silicone may slide around in certain spots before it grabs the outerwears real good.

it works, just be patient. i love this thing. i can just take what's left of the lid off and clean it no problem.

do u clean and oil the outerwears? And can u use K&N oil or foam oil? Any type of silicone will work?

go to the reviews section of ex riders.com and in their it shows you a cool idia with the old air box lid. mine fell appart too so i think im goin to do that
