How does the flywheel weight help out the power on the 450r honda

and how does the powernow powervalves help your power out

Increasing the flywheel weight increases inertia which makes the quad harder to stall and I believe gives you alittle more torque. It also alows you to get more traction to the ground. Good for an XC racer. If you decrease the flywheel weight your inertia is less which makes your quad easyer to stall but you take off quicker and get better response out of your motor. Good for an MX racer.

i think that if u have a lighter flywheel ur engine revs faster. i'm pretty sure thats how it works. but the heavy the flywheel the harder it is to stall as stated above
