i have around 3000 to spend , i think i can expect a pretty nice 250r for that kind of money nowadays, do you guys think i could get a pretty much mx ready 250r for around that?

For 3 grand, you can get one pretty close to MX ready. The motor probably won't have much more than a pipe, and you will be looking at shocks, and a arms etc that are lower line parts. You might have to add a few things to make it up to your standards for MX racing.
