This has probably been asked many times but which tires are better for general trail riding with a fair amount of mud, RAZR 1, KENDA KLAW , or KENDA KNARLY. There for a 400ex by the way, I replaced the stockers with MAXXIS SUR -TRAC because where I ride there is a fair amount of mud and the stockers didn't cut it, the trac's are great in mud but generally ride like crap everywhere else. any advise would be greatly appreciated. :D :D

Razr1 or 2...the klaws are a little more of a racing tire, and the razrs are good all around...and on a 400ex id put 20x11x9 razr1's because they grip great but the lugs arent quite as deep as the razr2's

I would say the Knarly's and the Razr 2's would be best. I have the Knarly's and they hook up very well in dry, muddy conditions and even light-moderate snow(under 8" or so). They ride very nicely on hard pack in the summer too with about 4-5lbs of air.

Razr 2 or XC Klaws will be your best bet, IMHO.

Razr1's will slick over very badly in the mud.

I also use 22x11x9 Maxxis Sur-Trak's when it's muddy. They are awsome in the mud.

Word... my Sur tracs are really good in the mud... my buddie got stuck real bad in some nasty rutted mud with his z400 with H-D's. I gave it a try and made it without much trouble. There super good in snow too

I have Knarlys and they hook up everywhere I've been including deep mud. Haven't triied them in the snow yet but they are on and waiting for my new battery to try them! Mud Sharks also are good in the mud and loose terrain. A bit heavy tho if your into flyin'!

What about the i-Razr's? How do they compare to the Razr2 and HD?
