I just spent 200 bucks on yfz shocks and gave him my stockers but the god damn things will not bolt up, they seem like they are to long, I've seen pictures of this done on the internet, even if you dont know about it and you think you have a suggestion post it please.

too long as in, the a-arms are way to angled? Or that the frame mounts are too small for the shock mounts?

If the bushing is too big you could have it shaved down on a lathe... if it's the whole shock mount, you could have it machined but that might not be a good idea.

Best idea right here.

You are totally changing the way those shocks were designed to work....just adding LT a-arms so they "fit" is not the answer IMO.

lift up on the bumper and see if someone can push the shock inwards and get it to line up.

yo josh, make sure you adjust the ride height all the way up, it looks like yours is in the middle. -Josh.

just not thinking that is best idea if you have to grind that much on your shocks and quad.....Although I had to grind greese zirk notches in my arm mounts for my lsr a arms.

i'd say try till u had enough , if u get them on, ride them and see how they do, if all falls or u dislike them, u can always sell them, so whats the use, u got them right there, go ahead and modify

I don't like this whole mix and matching people are doing with suspension componets.... the factories and aftermarket companies put weeks of R&D into this stuff for a reason... I'm with the other two guys... try to sell em for 200$..... save another 250$ and get you a set of used aftermarkets that are meant for your quad...

going by the pics, your gonna grind the bottom of the shock off at a 45 degree angle, notch out the bottom shock mount on the a-arm so the shock can lean closer towards the quad, and grind a 45 degree angle on the bottom of your upper shock mount on the frame so the shock will not bind against it. I have seen several people run the setup but did not know thats how they done it. Looks pretty shady.....I would go for getting my money and old shocks back. Good luck
