I ride my friend's 04 and 06 YFZ's and my 05 450R on a regular basis. The yfz's are cramped for me at 6'1". Does raising the steering stem and lowering and moving back the footpegs make that much of a difference? Alright, I will cut to the chase does anyone have a yfz that is set-up for taller riders in Las Vegas. I would appreciate being able to check out your machine.
thanks

I'm no where around veges but I am also 6'1'' and have no trouble. I run a plus 1 stem and x-factor nerfs. You can see my set up in the 05 ride report thread.

A longer stem is enough to make it comfy.

Nic Granlund lives in Las Vegas... he is about 6'2" the yfz he runs has a +1 stem in it... just look him up he has a company called Nic Granlund Racing (NGR) it should be in the phone book
What the heck....my feet dangle sitting on the seat. But they do that sitting on the pooper too.

im 6'3" and While the YFZ does feel cramped, I found that Pro Pegs in addition to low rise bars work fine. I really hate higher bars i dont know why. I feel that us larger riders have a lot more control over the quad. If you ever watch some of Joy Byrd's freestyling Videos you see him totally owning the quad. Hes 6'5" tall too.

My brother is 6'7 and rides my YFZ pretty good. He said he feels fine but he looks a bit cramped to me. I have +1 stem and AC nerfs so he does have alot of room to manuever.
