I'm looking to grab a set of rims for my wheeler to mount a set of studded ice tires on. I'm only going to flat track them on the ice. No competitions, just hanging out with the boys on Saturdays from January thru February.

They have: .125, .160 and .190 (thickness) . . . can I get away with a middle of the road (.160's)? Or should I spend the extra $$$'s and get the .190's?

Thanks

If your flat track and Ice.. I'd go with the light weight .125's.

Theres no point going heavier. The heavier are made for XC style riding where you hit rocks, logs, etc...

Getting them mounted you can do by yourself, well atleast I have so far. If not take em to a local wheel and tire shop
