Help me Re-Install my choke!

Previous owner took off the choke on my 400ex. I think i ahve all the parts,but i cant get the spring on right for the choke plate to move when you lift the lever up or down. Any have instructions,or pics of how it looks. i know it's a shot in the dark but any help would be highly appreciated. Even a shot of the black cap off where the spring sits. heres my carb. make sure u tieten the buterfly valve screws, i did and i ****ed up my 300ex

n e 1? I have the full service manual and it does not describe...

Why do you want a choke? It starts if you pump the gas a few times...
