What is the easiest way to remove the swingarm bolt?

do a search on swingarm bolt and you will get plenty of info. It is the same issue as on the 400ex.

Assuming you have already tried to remove it, you have probably stripped the bolt. I am sure you have tried pounding on it. If soaking it in penetrating oil doesn't work, you will probably end up cutting it out.

If you decide to pound on it more, protect your frame so when you miss, you don't damage the frame.

If you get a 1/4" pin punch, you won't have to worry about the punch slipping off the bolt.

i just took mine out the other day and it was a pain. i used some pb blaster and let it sit for about an hour or so and it still didnt break loose. then i just took one of those little plumber torches, heated the nut up for about a minute then hit it with the impact gun. came off without having to pound it out.
