450r carb on a 440ex?? will it work very well?

hey, i was wondering i i could put a 450r carb onto my 440ex and would it make much difference in power?

yes, I have heard it works very well....

but if you send me that 450R carb....I will check it out for you and do a thorough review...:devil:

just the size difference is huge...400ex carb=36mm (99-0?) and 450R=42mm (I think)....huge difference.....

if you get an 06 450r carb, it is a FCR...

yah i talked to someone who did it he said it made a huge difference and is al he did to get it to fit is move the air box forward and make the intakes bigger

Almost any carb would fit. A friend of mine had a carb off a harley motorcycle on his ex. The intake boot must be matched to the carb, and the proper airbox mods must be made.
