Ive had my renthal front sprocket since.....probably june, and i got it to replace the stock sprocket cuz i went down a tooth. But i didnt get a new chain or rear sprocket to wear with it. And for Christmas im getting a new DID chain, and a primary drive rear steel sprocket. Today i was looking at my renthal sprocket, and it looks like i can slightly see it beginning to wear some....should i go ahead and replace it too? Its only $15. I dont want the front sprocket to mess up my new chain

you are supposed to replace the sprockets when you do a new chain...

yes "they say you should replace them at the same time".HOWEVER for those of us that live in the real world,if yours are in good shape i see no problem.i have 3 different sets of gearing that i run,i didnt get a new chain and sprocket kit everytime i wanted to experiment with gearing.nonsense.now i wouldnt put a new chain on a set of sprockets that are who knows how old and hooked, use good judgement:)

go ahead and replace it and keep old one for a spare
