How tight do you tighten the nut on the axle after installing a new bearing carrier?:confused:

I put mine as tight as i could get it. Dont know if your supposed to but its still doin find after a year

that is wat i did too....and now it still comes loose everyonce in a whiel :ermm:

yeh mine tends to come loose i have to retighten it every few months

I tighten mine, then go ride on it for a short time, then tighten it again, and it usually stays tight....

i wrap mine with duct tape from the rotor hub to the axle and it never comes loose(poor mans locking nut)

Thanx guys! I put a twin row carrier in lastnite ( froze my ace off) and just wanted to check. How bout those anti-fade nuts, anyone no anything bout them?

I am actually looking for an anti-fade.....i thought I was getting one, but I rec'd a posi-lock nut :mad:, if you are interested in a posi-lock let me know....

That's for the hub nuts. I think the original question is about the axle lock nut. The Inner nut is 94 ft-lbs and the outer is 65 ft-lbs. I belive a special tool is required to apply accurate torque.

Didn't you get that straightened out? That sux! My next purchase will be that cam if you still have it. Freakin weather and holidays are killing my funds!

That kind of sheet really pisses me off. Everybody doesn't have alot of money to throw around, but you still try to have fun. Then you have some jackass like that that rips you off, then you don't have any trust for anyone else on here, where as most guys on here are probably basicaly honest guys.

if it has tw0 then tighten the nut closest to the sprocket hand tight and the outer one to 130lbs

i tightened it as tight as it could go and put some lock-tite on it
