Whos 400 will beat a Z

Who here has a 400ex that is built that will hang wit a Z400? I am just wondering. I was out on the ice and i smoked the Z up until about 4th gear. Then we both got 5th and the Z came back from about 15 quad lengths behind and eventually was ahead of me. At that time i didnt have my rev box in becuase of the cold weather. But i think when i get it runing with the box it shoudl take the Z. My mods are in my sig. Gimme some info Thanks

wow i cant believe the Z beat ya. from the mods in your sig it sounds like youve got a pretty nice quad. I have 2 friends with z's and i can beat them prolly 2/3 of the time

ya i dont get it either...the z only had a Pro circuit T-4 and a K&n filter and of course jets...and then he comes barrelin beside me and passed me. It just doesnt make sense

wow thats a pretty nice quad ya got there. how long of a race is it. The Z does have a slight atvantage on top speed so if you get a decently long race its hard for an ex to keep up

the race is a long ways, prolly like a few miles, enough to be tapped in 5th and jus start touchin the limiter

ok i understand that now. thats no big deal, I wouldnt worry about it. You beat him in the part of the race that counts. the Z has about 5mph more in top speed so unless your geared higher he'll take ya in a mile drag. but thats pretty good that you were that far out ahead of him.

i took yfz and z up in sand mountain on the burm track

i have a 440ex with hotcams a powercore 4 exhaust uni air filter a rev box it's jetted of course and i took a z by about a bike length and a half and the z had a full exhaust system different intake k&n air filter

me and a z were about even in a drag until I got my +4 swingarm which helped for better holeshots..

never dragged one but last time i raced one on the MX track i almost lapped him.

my 400ex kept up with a z like he was beating me not even by a half of a quad. All i had was a uni.

i beat a z by 6 bike lengths and the Z had a yoshi pipe,k&n filter and some more mods that im not sure of.

my 426 has a wb eseries pipe,wb rev box,port and polish,hotcams stage 2,oversized valves,hinson clutch basket and clutch kit.

it wasnt even a race from the start,i pulled from him and it was over just like that!
