450r a-arms on 400ex?

does any body know if a set of stock 450r a-arms would fit on a 400ex? i can get them really cheap because one of my friends built his 450r and has brand new a-arms. Any help is apprecitated

to make it simple... NO....they will not fit

NO they will not work they are way to wide for a 400ex frame and the width of the arms are also a little off.

dont get them.

ive got a friend that put a set of them on his 300ex. he is ethan#87. or somethin like that on here.

Does anybody know if a 450r steering stem will fit a 400ex? mine is bent really really bad.

no pics. but im possitve he has it done. i'll try and find his name on here. but he had to rig them up to make them work. but this thing is wide!

He definately has 450r a-arms. But the frame had to be cut and extended to make everything work good. The setup is awesome and works like a dream. He is running works 400 tripple rates with a relocater bracket. There is pics in the Sport Quad Under 350cc section.

He is going to make them use lonestar ball joints to get full adjustment out of them.

Once the front mount was moved up it made it something like +3 +1

insert foot in mouth :( I will have to say thats a first, not many people willing to do that frame work to make a set of a-arms fit. But it looks pretty good
