I know a few people who ride with white gear. They swear by simple green. The use a hose to get most of the dirt off then coat the gear in simple green and use a power washer on a low setting to blast the stains away. Don't think it would work on old stains but could help your whites stay white in the future. Personally I stick with dark gear, most of mine is black.:)

You can use simple green or grease lightning

i used MSR RG2 gear this past year and looks like new. When I did get the stains i put it in a bucket and then added some greased lightning and then water and let it soak over night then I washed it through the heavy duty setting twice.

After a muddy race i soke mine in a 5 gallon bucket of oxiclean, then wash with some more. All the stains always come out
