20's will give you better acceleration and lower top speed. 22's will give you more ground clearance and a higher top speed. It depends on the type of riding you do. If you ride muddy rutted trails I'd say go for the 22's. Otherwise the 20's are great for most other types of riding(except maybe mx).

get 20 inch tires IMO they look nice on a 250ex on the stock rims, and you would get motre acceleration, and since you have the big bore kit why would top speed be a worry? I mean who cares about top speed, Thats why when i race the foreman 500 i want acceration not top speed bc no matter how big his quad is once you get in front of him is all over, you can cut him off throw dirt to keep him at bay. Definetly get 20's man. I didn't regret going from the pos balloon tires to nice 20 inch maxxis razrs, best tires yet! Next after the Razrs 20 I"m gonna try a nice set of Kenda klaws xcr to see how they compare, and if i like the Razrs better that what I"m stickin' with. I also might try a set of 22 inch Kenda gnarlys just to see how great they are.

BTW why do you want beadlocks imo the 250ex is already light enough for the track just take off the lights and some other little stuff, but imo also it just a waste of $$.

think about what i said about the tires, trust me they are great.

but thats my opinion

Get the 22s, ludacris says you cant lose on 22s. I got 22s and its the perfect amount of ground clearance, top speed, acceleration etc. If you get 20s you clearance drops from theoretically 5.9t o 3.9 HUGE difference. If you ride trails, you should always do 22s, 20s should o nly be used for track. And I ride my 250 places my friends 4x4 polaris goes and I dont get stuck with 22" bearclaws

dont get 22". I have 20" on my 300ex and they look to big for it. See but with my 300, i can change gearing, so i would say its up to you to decide what you want. IMO I dont think you need the bead locks, but if you insist, give these a try.

20's for sure. 22's will make for terrible low-end.

if your 250 is massively ***** it will hurt your low end, most people will never even notice the difference.

A rule of thumb in off roading is always get the biggest tire that you can safely fit on your quad, truck or suv.

and beadlocks lock the tire to the rim so your tire doesnt spin on your rim, you will never need those, only drag racers need those.

lmao, thats why gncc pros use 20's the most of the time huh? You don't know to much about do ya?

also, beadlocks arent just for drag racers. I think that the XC racers need them more than the draggers.

they lock your tire on the rim so it doesnt get knocked off the rim when you hit a rut or other impact.

Anyone have a picture with 22s? Losing top end is something I'd really hate to do, considering 50 ish mph is all we get already. The last thing I want to do is max out at 42mph. :ermm:

20's are closer to a tru 22" diameter. The 20" refers to the carcass diameter. Add the taller lugs of the Razr2's and your up to your stock 22" or very close to it.

Trust me get the 20's. Who cares if you can go fast on top end if you can't get there. With the 22's you will have almost NO bottom end because of the lack of power on your quad.

heres a set of 22" XCT's on 10" wheels. I will never again get a 10" wheel or run a set of 22" tires. Good thing I didnt buy them. They were exalent tires, just too big.
