05 vz 06

Hey guys trying to get some opinions i am CONSIDERING trading in my 05 or an 06 I would need 1250.00 plus my 05 which is basically brand new with the hrc now ... I would be getting the 06 with the e start ... any opinions?? is there any reason i should keep the 05? are the 06 that much better?? would the e start 06 be slower then my 05 with hrc kit??

06 HRC is the ****. Lots of small changes besides the obvious changes.
From motor, to suspension, longer swingarm, list goes on and on.
4 of my friends have 04-05s and they all love mine.
Just preference. I love ES

how long have you had your 05 and what type of riding do you do?

if it were me i'd keep the 05 with the hrc kit your faster than the 06 stock.but the final decision is yours i have a 06 with hotcam and like it very much but sometimes its a beast to start,waiting on a new battery, my friends have 05s and they like them also so it comes down to personal choice.. with equal mods 06 is a little fater than 05.

Unless you HAVE to have the e-start for god sakes do not do the trade its just not worth it. Ive rode an 06 and it is a little snappier but not 1250 dollars worth.

Take the $1250 and invest in suspension...You will fall in love with your Quad all over again.

my dealer told me that a stock 06 will beat a 05 with a hrc kit and a full system hmf pipe. my dude thats on here said he beat an 05 with a full system and jetted. take it as u want.

no way, not with the same mods.

In reality the power diff is very close but the improvements to the entire machine overall is what makes the difference.
