Air scoops

I was wondering if puting the air scoops fins on a 400ex really makes it run any cooler. i do alot of trail riding and my bike gets so hot. do you guys think they will help me or just waste my 50 bucks. thanks

i have air scoops on my 440 and i ride alot of muddy trails and i have never had my bike get hot i miade mine less $

prm makes good scoops, like $54 from their website or something, and no i dont think they make it run to much cooler, but they look good, which adds 5 hp, plus the stickers u can put on em, which adds another 10
