Snow Day

anyone else have a snow day? were suppose to get a few inches of snow then an inch of ice.. heres the weather map.. im in fredericksburg(right below Washington DC)..

I'm in coon rapids minnesota, as of this morning we had between 8-9 inches in are backyard.

I am in Utah ( Greatest Snow On Earth ) and we don't have any snow in the valley's. :(

Yeah, I have to go monday, but then I'm on vacation. We should go riding over break.

We where suppose to get snow last night but we didnt mannn i want snow atleast before sat. so we can snowmobiling

We've probably got about 6 inches of snow since I last posted . Gunna be fun out there with all the idiot drivers later on when I have to go pick up my girlfriend at work . :grr:

It hasn't stopped snowing since 8am this morning .... and it's not supposed to let up until tomorrow afternoon . We should get a good 10 or 12 inches of snow tonight . The good old Sunfire is gunna be all over the road tonight . :grr:

anybody else have another snow day 2day.. we first had a 2hr delay so i got up then they cancelled school... black ice is a *****! 2ppl had to be flown to fairfax and they had to shut down parts of rt 3 because ppl were slidding off the roads in to ditches everywhere u look.. i hate ice.

I had a 2 hour delay but skipped cuz we dont do anything at school on days like this anyway

Up there in maine you guys must have to get 2 feet of snow for school to be cancelled...I like fredericksburg where you get 1/2 " and everyone freaks out..

Thats what most people think.....but school gets called off for any thing over 4inches. I love it! :)

here it put down about 6 - 8 inches of ice balls... then it put down about another 1/2 inch of ice ontop of that.... it was like driving on ball bearings!:o

I woke up to this this morning, Its friggen deep, I guess i wont be going anywhere for a while. although we may have some good snow riding pics again this weekend.:D

Well we got a good foot of snow . It was fun driving this morning ... slipping and slidding all over the place ... people blowing stop signs and skidding through intersections .

A foot of snow in less than 24 hours , and the kids still had to go to school this morning . The snow isn't letting up either .... we're supposed to get a few more inches during the day and into the night . It litterally formed snowbanks over night and made the sledders smile !!!:D :devil:

Wow ... you guys get it easy . If you guys ever got like a foot of snow in one dumping ... would they issue a state of emergency ?? :confused:

This picture was taken a few minutes ago .... if you look closely enough , you can see the snowbanks that have formed overnight .... this is a normal snowfall though . I've got pictures at my parents place of a snowfall a few years ago that filled the back of our truck bed with about 3 feet of snow in less than 12 hours ... now that was a good storm .

no, i live near thetman and ya we only got about an inch and yes it is raining now, but he forgot to mention that we got freezing rain earlier. thats why schools are cancelled, the roads were too icy.

we get big snowfalls all the time, just last week we got like 14 inches
