IMHO the best tire for Hard Pack is still the good old Turf Tamers. The funnest would be Hoosier TT tires. ;)

I have klaws now and love them. I had turf tamers before and I'd get them again except for they were 18s. But I also want to try the razrs. all three are excellent tires.

I don't have any experience with the mx tires, but in the xc models I've rode with both and in my opinion the klaws are by far and away a better tire. The razr1's spin way too easily for me when cornering. The klaws had much better side bite.

What about the razr II's vs. any of the holeshots.

klaws- they're alittle softer compound of tire than razrs, you'll get more life out of them and still have the traction to go places, also knarleys work real good also- your just limited to few sizes-they're still in the Kenda family too

turf tamers are the best on the hard pack, Jones ran them several times this year at nationals when it got hard pack, I'm from western Kansas and thats by far the best tire that I have used on the hard ground, I have Razor MX now but I'm getting another set of tamers and grooved radials this sprig.
