Best Airfilter for the sand?

Anyone have a preference for filters while at the dunes? Right now, I am running a K&N with an outerwears and no airbox lid. Is a foam filter better for sand or what? Also, whats the best for dirt/dust?

k&n w/ outerwears should do fine. make sure it's been cleaned and oiled properly. foam filters actually filter better, but the k&n w/ outerwears work fine as long as they're maintained correctly.
