I have the dual link with their 17" shock on my 450r and I love it. It really soaks up the bumps. It will be money well spent.

I took my first ride up a mountain with the new linkage (and of course a butt load of other new parts)..

It ran sooo smooth... I never even thought about the back end...It was like floating...

I'll post some pics....

And Finally, a shot of the rear skid, yes, I had to modify the skid to fit...

I have asked Yann, and they are working on the dual setup for the 06. He said they are working on the clearance issue, so it doesn't hang so low.

Looks nice. I would love to get a response from someone that is switching from an older elka link to the newer one. I have the older one and em wondering if it is worth it to change over to what you have.

i rode the nationals on the old elka link with there shock this year, and I thought it was awsome compared to stock, and i was completely happy with it, then i rode a gt thunder link with a stock back rebuild and got pissed, it worked so much better than my rear end, lol and of from what i've heard, the duel link will work even better than the gt setup, plus the setup i rode was with a stock back shock, lol so ya, the new setup will be well worth it, i actaully have the new link, but my quad is being rebuilt, so i haven't rode it, but i'll also be getting the new linkage from lonestar, which is supposed to be could stuff, apparently it's a copy of the walsh design, and walsh is good shiot

I got a discount on my linkage because I purchased the entire suspension setup from elka all at the same time. I paid 335.00.

The swingarm skid is a UM product. I got a very good deal from Herrmann on that as well (since I bought my entire A-Arm and Swingarm kit from them at the same time too).

I did a lot of skid plate research at the time I bought the link, and UM had one of the deapest pans to cover the current likage on the market, but the Pro-Link was so new at that time, that no skid plate would have covered it.

I could have shimmed it, but I elected to cut out a section. It does not hang below the skid (pretty much flush with the bottom), but the linkage did interfear when I tried to mount the skid to the swingarm, so I cut a portion out.

I am very happy with the UM skid, they doubled the .190 on the very bottom, and it is tough as nails for aluminum. Out here in the desert, we have HUGE rocks to contend with all of the time.

By the way, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
