Itunes with Ipod ?

It was working fine yesterday,but when i plug the connector into the USB port to connect to Itunes it says i am not connected,anyone else have this happen to them?thanks

Did you do the whole "safely disconnect from the USB port" thing?Mine got kind've screwed up because I forgot it. Could be the problem.

Have you reset your ipod since this has happened? and if that doesent work call 1-800-MY-APPLE option 3 is technical support
they are more then willing to give you a hand

make sure your connected to enternet if you already did this than try re-installing the software that works for me if my ipod doesnt read on the screen

Make sure your "Hold" button isn't on.

last time that happend to me the harddrive was bad. so I went to the apple store in the mall and they gave me a new one for free. And are you using USB 2.0 or Firewire? Anything 2.0 is bad for the ipod and it messes stuff up..i know from exeperince.

so restart the ipod (hold down menu and the middle button at the same time) and if nothing else works, bring it to apple and see what they can do

lol figures i have the USB2.0 nothing is ever easy,im going to try to restard my ipod,if not then off to apple :o
