Bansheeguy is right. It is 90 percent diet. If you want to see your abs work out and no only doing situps will not work. There are alot of muscles in there that you will have to work at. Also you will have to drop your body in the 9 or 10 % to see definition
do nothing. i neveer tried to get em but they jest started coming in when i was 10 and now i have a 8 pack:cool:

situps are old hack, crunches work and center your muscles much more than them
you can also do different crunches for upper, lower and you mid abdominals, or your obliques (the sides of you abs)
but yah, to make them really show, its all diet, and a CLEAN diet, that means, the smallest amount of sugars, very low fat foods, lots of vegis, and lean protein (chicken, fish, turkey... not steak, or fatty ground beef)

I will agree with the majority.
It all about what you eat. Every on has sexy abs.. they are just covered up with a layer of insulation. ;) Some people are more insulated than others.. lol.

i cant stand situps...they hurt my tail bone and lower back somehow:confused:
I do crunches and lay on my back and hold my legs straight, and lift them off the ground like 6-10 inches and hold them their. The crunches seem to work your upper abs, and the leg lifts seem to work lower

Lay on your back, and bring your legs up straight, knees straight.and have someone stand over you and make them push your legs towards the floor, then stop them about 6 inches from ground, and come back up and keep doing that. It really burns and helps.

well i've been doing crunches everyday for the past like 6-8 months,i do them every morning and never miss a day and i'm on no diet or anything,i do eat the occasional fast food and sugar foods. And my abs are alright you can see the outline of my abs when my stomach is regular, but i can tighten my stomach and you can see them good, but abs are really really hard to get and takes alot of time and working out to get them.

This site always has what I want... I've been working out and last night I was like "I need to find a different way to work my abs rather then sit ups" so I was going to search the internet to day for something, but no need now!
Now I just have trying these new things and see if I like them better then sit ups.

Like everyone who knows what they are talking about it is the diet that exposes your abs. 10% bf is where you start seeing them. Do not work them out everyday. They are just like your triceps, they need to heal. Use a varity of exercises also do weighted situps, crunches, hanging leg raises, etc.

dieting is definately the big thing. i do two different exercises that you may like that are great for your abs. get on a flat bench where you can hold onto something (i use an adjustable sit up bench but you dont have to) extend your legs out, lift themup and at the same time raise your arse off the bench until your legs are straight up, now lower your legs keeping your arse up (controlling the motion, your arse will naturally go back down) and repeat. the next one you extend your legs out, and bring them up to about a 45 degree angle, and repeat. this can also be done with a medicine ball (extra weight). dont forget to work out your obliques as well when you do ab work outs.

the exercise that tater kamik said about usieng the medicine ball really does a good job on your lower abs
