View Full Version : Would spray paint hold up good on a grab bar?

hi,

i just sent my nerfs and some other parts to be powder coated but i forgot my grab bar..no i dont want to ship it seperatly cuz shipping is expensive...how would black spray paint hold up on it??should i put a clear coat on ??

Take a chill pill in your posts you sound so damn desperte..

Yes rattle can will hold up, scuff it with a scrubby or a sos pad, prime it then paint it.

i spray pained a bunch of parts with out sanding the part down first and it holds up good. the more coads the stronger it will be. i

IT holds up for a little while but if you dont sand it first it will chip almost all the paint off.

Yeah, if you dont sand it the paint has nothing to go into to make a good strong hold.

Do light coats, do not try to do it all at once.

yes it will my friend has doen it to bumpers and grab bars worx good

yeah, i did it to my grab bar and my bumper.
It came great...i did about 6-7 coats on the grab bar.. and 2-3 on the bumper
