im gettin a cam, 10.8 JE piston and some sort of high perf carb. i have been told by the guy thats gonna do the work to get a lecton. are they good carbs? worth the money? i like to drag race, hill climb, sand, but MOSTLY trail ride. i like to haul *** when i want to and i want more power. BUT i still wanna take it easy when i want. is the lectron the carb for me?

i guess they were hot a few years back but most high performance setups use the keihin fcr carb.one would think its popular for a reason.i heard good things about the edelbrock as well.in all honesty though your stock carb rejetted will serve your purpose just fine IMO.unless you have this overwhelming passion to spend money:D

if i got the FCR would i loose any bottom end? will it give it more power over stock?
