Well i thought i would be building a pretty good motor, I thought it had a 440 bigbore kit wich is what the kid my brother bought it from said. So i just recently bought a head from mikeboone claiming it had 1mm oversize valves. Then i got the head. i take my old one off i measure the two. they were stock size valves. then i looked at the piston noticed it was a stock piston. So now i dont know what to do i got the new stroker cam from hotcam on the way. I asked for a partial refund on the head also. So im wondering if i should go to a 426? would this work good with the stroker cam. but the thing i cant figure out is that this thing had some nuts just for having a pipe. i would contact the person i bought it from but my brother got this thing last winter and aint got no way of getting ahold of him. sorry for the long post

Although the wiseco compression ratios aren't exactly correct, they're still a good piston. I had a wiseco in mine, but if I did do it again, I would go JE.

just if ya want a lil more power and less chance of something going wrong then do what I say. wiseco is a good improvement just not the best. It is cheaper tho.

so do u think a 426 would be good with the stroker cam cause it says for the bigger bores. but i wonder if 426 would be high enough. also thinking of goin 12:1 cause i heard from quite a few people thats what they ran with stock head studs and rod and havent had one problem with it. and one more question do i half to resleeve with a 426.

no resleeve.. just get the 11:1 je 426 piston. It should work fine with that cam. dont try doin 12:1 with the stock stuff. well ya can but I wouldnt recommend it. atleast it's not as bad as 13:1. lol
