My new snowmobile

Yeah i picked up this 95 Polaris Indy 500 EFI with reverse. It is is preatty nice shape it has 3,700 miles on it i just picked it up yesterday and rode it 40 miles. This thing is kind of hard on gas i burned in between 3/4 and half a tank of gas. I haven't had it in a big feild yet. I had it doing about 80 on a snow covered road. I don't like the Pink/blue graphics so i am going to watch for an after market graphics kit or just peel them off. O well i can't complain for $1200.

nice sled man rip them graphics and it should look sweet. i will be working from this winter all the way to next winter to get a nice sled

Yeah i will ride this one for this winter and part of next winter then sell both of my selds and try to get a MXZ 670 or something biger.

i just cant comprehend how people don't like snow. it makes no sense at all. but whatever we all have our own opinions.

its cold, your vehicles rust faster, driving in the snow sucks and gettign in an accidnet is 2x easier, there is no outdoor mx in winter time, you have to warm your vehicle up 10 minutes before you leave, pooring concrete in snow sucks!If it was like 80 degrees and snowed, sure i would love it. But sadly it needs to be 34 degrees or less to snow, therefore i hate it

Only perks to snow- White christmas, snowmobiling, snow days

Nice sled,a bud of mine has close to the same thing, but its a carb. They run nice, not the best suspension,but its decent.Have fun:macho

LOL you thinkt hey have bad suspension. Try riding my old 85 Formula mx! I like the snow i just also hate the cold. If it could snow and be 80 degree's out at the same time that would be the ****!

my sled is mint.

dont laugh I have many hours into this sled. I got it when I was like 12 and worked on it for a cupple years a little bit at a time. things mint.

oh and I also hate snow. Plenty of snow where I am for sleds, I have had a cupple. I just dont like them, they dont give me much of a rush.

I bet I have driven a snowmobile that is faster than you have. And have 2 snomobiles that MAY be faster or just as fast or a little slower as any sled that you have ever dirvenI just dont care for them.

but ya, I am quad person. But I will be breaking out my dads drag sleds for the winter soon.

i have a 95 indy classic 500 its got electric start, reverse,hand warmers that really burn your hands.it's a nice sled the fastest ive got it to is a 100mph@10,000rpm's i know thats slow these days but my sled u cant really get anything done to it so i would take my 400 over my sled any time.i'll post pics pretty soon just got it out of the sled today.
