I was thinking of getting the pro design kill switch. it's only about 30 dollars but does it come in use, and is it hard to install?
Mainly will it come in use if i buy it????

unless you race or do hill climbs there is really no use for it i dont think it would be a benefit. But, it's your money and your choice!!!!

I suckered into buying a prodesign kill switch. It quick working after 3 months. It was made by pro design.

every quad should have a tether kill switch..

in fact they should come standard like jet skis etc..

I've had great luck with my pro-design, over a year with zero problems..

in case you do get one, here's an article on the web with good instructions. because the instructions that come with it are poor at best.

I used the black/white stripe wire instead, its the wire that comes from the original kill switch on handlebars and the key switch anyway. the blk/ylw goes to the coil and if you hook it to that you may blow a fuse when the tether is removed, I have heard of it happening before.

i have a tether kill swithch. it's not a pro design but its a Gunnar kill switch. it works great. you should also have it if you do wheelies.
