Dg v-lite question!!

I just bought a V-Lite is the ultimate in front bumper from ebay and the guy said it was for a 450r. the top of the bumper bolts up fine but the bottom inside diameter is 7" and my 450r is 4 1/2" is there any 1 1/4 spacers to go on the bottom? if anybody knows or has a picture that would help! There is no evidence of it being bent either!!

got me on that one. i had a dg v-pro and I had to bend the heck out of it to get it to mount. NOt saying to start bending on your bumper. It sounds like you may have gotten one for the wrong quad..
maybe some other atv owners will notice those dimensions and recognize that you may have the wrong model

You could go to a hardware store and buy some spacers to go in there. My guess is, the bumper IS NOT for the 450R!:( Sorry!

I put one of those on a Z400 and that thing didnt bolt up right either. It was in the right spots but when you tighten it down it would have to bend into place. Maybe thats just how they are but it sounds like yours is pretty off.

I just installed my V-Lite and i agree with redline it lined up just fine but when i tightened it down it bent into place but not bad. I think thats just how they are. Makes me question its ability to withstand a hit.

And i'll add that i just bolted up my dg race pegs and with a little elbow grease they also fitted up nicely and look great.

I have never bolted up ANY DG accessory thad didn't need some tweaking.However,it does sound like you got the wrong bumper.

Nerfs are supose to hav a little bend to them right?

I put one on my trx 90 and had to tweak it to put it on.
