mine are bad and clunking how hard is it to replace them what all has to be done? Do they have to be pressed out or do the just slide out easyl?

Is the a universal bearing that will fit because the dealer wants 32.00 a piece for them.

Are you talking about the stock bushings? If so I have a full set I will sell for $15 plus shipping. They were only used for about 5-10 rides. They just slide out of the a arms.

On service honda they show that there is a bearing in there.

It says that # 12 is a bearing and the things on bowth ends of the bearing are seals.

I see now. I was thinking of the collars (#8).

Mine is clunking and has play in it what would be bad? My guess was the bearing!

It could be the bearings or even just the collars. I would take it apart and check it out before buying anything you don't need. You can check them out by just removing the lower shock bolt and the 8 pivot bolts that hold the arms to the frame. You should be able to remove the collars and inspect them then. I'll have to get back to you on a shipping price for the collars. I removed my collars becuase I was replacing the a arms. I have since sold the a arms but I still have the collars.

if the clunking is on the pivots them it would be your bearings

they are spherical bearing which are a rather pricey item, I have a friend who changed to the plastic bushings on his 250r which actually lated longer, I believ you can get them from James Lucky, look the kit is about $100

These bushing and sleeve kits you can get's you can get has the 300ex and 400ex together. Are they the same for the 300ex and 400ex? And do the replace every thing in my a arm ? So I won't need seals and dust caps.

I may be buying a kit for a 400ex I need to know if they'll fit my 300 HELP ME!

I found out that they are the same kit Thanks for the help. I think that I will get one of these kits
