yea.. i was ridin in the snow and my brakes dont work worth a $***, ya squeze the lever and nothin happens and it feels really stiff (wow that sounds baad), i had it serviced a while ago and i they put DOT3 fluid in em, is that the culpret? any help please and thanks much

i am guessing that they were just wet...

check your brake pads and fluids
dot 3 fluid is soppose to go in there
its probely wet though
Recommended brake fluid is DOT 4. I'm not sure what the difference is.
How long ago were they serviced?

and snow sometimes tends to make a quad slide....

haha same things happened to me man,my quad is in the shop,well my rear brake lever goes the whole way down so i think i snapped the cable cuz nothin happens when i press it.my quad is in the shop now,they r fixin it while im at work 2morow

mine wernt working worth a s**t and they were just froze, so if u have a heated grodge just put it in there for the night thats what i di and they worked just fine the next day
