450/400ex hybrid...

Im planning on starting this project in the near future and was wondering what all i need to make this right. Most people tellme just to go buy a yfz or trx but i dont like them i like the pwer but im not comfortable and am not as fast. I just need to know everything i need to do. I know i need the engine, most of the engines i have found come without carb elec. kickstart. Knowing that what do i need and where do i get it.

i cant decide what engine i want yz450,yz426,crf450 ive heard the yz426 is the easiest. but is the power comparable to the 450s

Buy the bike..
keep the engine,electrics,carb,head pipe.

Let e-bay do the rest.

right on... go for the YZ426 me and the fella above^^ both did it.. and he is a HUGe help.. he can get you everything you need to put it in the frame..

I think ill pass on buying the bike im shootin for engine only unless its a totalled bike and the engine is still good.

hey you would be better of buying the bike because you will have everything you need for only a couple hundred more and then you can part out the bike and make atleast the diference back..
