I got rear ended this weekend and need a new tail light. I was wondering if anybody sells a clear tail light for the 450R like the one's on the new yfz.

Does a clear LED tail light for the 450R even exist?

couldnt you just put any clear led light on there if you still have good wires?

No, the cover is red.
I do not beleive anybody makes a clear tail light. You could hust put a yfz one on there. Probably have to make a mount though

during an XC race, i got behind a YFZ with a blue led tail light. That thing was sweet!!! I'd like to find one for my R. Let me know if anyone finds such a thing.

unfortunately, the yfz beat me. :confused:

I got hit the 2nd day i had mine. Dog ran out infront of me in the woods and my 450 stopes alot quicker then my friends big 4x4. The light still works 2 years later and its been coverd in mud and scrubed with soap and water alot. Ive also had it complety under water while it was on and no problems. All the lights work except the top left one. Guess i was lucky.

It takes alot to get an Led light to quit, they are not like normal light bulb, they almost never burn out, you have to smash them to get them to stop working.
If you can find a yfz tail light with the conector, all you have to do is wire it in to your old wires and it should work. The biggest problem is getting it to mount up to your grab bar.
