im planing on getting a HMF slip on and a Uni Air filter and jets and ran w/o a airbox lid
how much of a power gain will i get?

it will be noticable, but it wont be an amazing gain.

those mods will bring it to life pretty nicely...i plan on some kind of exhaust and a uni filter as well

You'll get a decent gain, but if you get a header you'll see up to a 15% gain total on the 250x/300ex. The 250x/300ex's are horribly corked.

i made a thread about this but no one gave me a excat answer.
Would a FMF megamax header fit the HMF slip on?

FMF header will fit up to a HMF silencer last time I checked.

Does the MegaMax come as a 2-piece pipe? The old ones were 1-piece.

You aren't going to see a large gain switching from a MegaMax to an HMF. You will see some for sure, but not like going from a stock silencer/header.

awesome upgrade would be a 400ex carb... u can pick one up CHEAP on ebay or sometimes on this site... i put one on my buddies 300 who has an hmf slip and open airbox with K&N filter and it really helped out!

like bwamos said, get a header!!! white brothers makes one for like 115! worth it

ill probly getting a 400ex carb and a new header in early spring when i get a job again

you and me both. Work all summer. Play all winter. Thats what I do. Plus i have highschool swimming in the winter and that keeps me in shape for racing.

haha yeah last summer i built house for my quad and im probly gonna do the same so i can get extended a arms and axel and all that other good stuff
