I have a yfz 450 and i want to paint the clutch cover black, will SprayPaint be good to use? I know that powdercoating is better, But will SprayPaint be ok? Do i need to bake it?
What kind of Spraypaint should i use?
Thanks.
Hope someone can help me.

since it is a high contact part i would get it powder coated. By time you put all the work into it, it would be better to get it powder coated. I think pappy will charge around $15-30 to paint it and it wont rub off.

dont spray paint it i spray painted mine and the dirt baked right onto the paint i would just powercoat it or polish it

spray paint is a waste of time..it will just rub off....
go with PC
pappy has really good prices. and it will last longer than spray paint

Either way, the finish will rub off. If you insist on getting it colored, powdercoat it instead of spray paint.

don't bother to polish it it is mag not aluminum the shine dose not last more than a few washes.
