i just bought my stock 2000 yamaha warrior last week for $2200. and shortly spend 150 for the dealer to "clean the carb" because of backfiring. but i want to change the oil, can anyone help me with that. also. can i have help with other maitinance work that may be needed. im only 15 and this is my first quad or bike. thanks

Congrats on getting your first, I never done any work on a Warrior but it should be pretty straight forward. There should be a drain plug on the bottom of the motor, just take it out and drain the oil. You should also change the oil filter when you change the oil (not a have to, but a good idea). The oil filter is pretty straight forward as well, it will be on the left or right side of the motor covered by a plate (should be roundish, maybe 2 inch diamter) take out the bolts and take the filter out and replace.
I'd suggest you get a manual, they are pretty cheap, Clymer makes a good one only 30$:
