So I think it's about time my 400ex engine needs a rebuild. How much should I be looking to spend for a rebuild. Also how do I go about finding some that can rebuild it for me.

Depends on what you want done. Rings, gaskets and honing will run about $50-75 if you do the work yourself, except for the honing. The price goes up however far you want from there.

I would just get a new piston and bore it over 20 thousandths and get your engine ported and polished while you were at it

I am not sure about the prices though

ok then how about this. Anyone know of a good engine rebuilder in the Pittsburgh area?
