Traci Cecco used Epic this year to win her Championship. You could PM Rick, he could answer most of your questions. Also you could talk to Allen White at Precision Concepts, they work with the Epic stuff.

Here is the link to SoCal Fab. http://www.socalfab.com. About those epic arms, from what I have heard, they are not that good of a product and their service isn't that good also. Again, I've only heard these things, I have never dealt with them personaly.

If I was to buy new arms it'd be the laeger T-pin setup, socal fabs or metalcraft... In that order...

They handle landings like this everytime I ride:

They run right around 1k for the LT version...

Edit: I really like the custom creations +2+1 a-arms.. there on a 'shee but you get the idea

I dont think you will get that from epic. I put a set of epic arms on a friends 450r and tried to get their phone number from an ExRiders member that knows them personaly to see how to set the camber/caster and he pm'd me back telling me that the people at epic said for me to just call either Alba or Precision Concepts, that they would be able to help me. Whats up with that.

You will also get more ground clearance with this bend compared to a gull style bend and shock travel is not affected at all.

12-12-2005, 01:47 PM
That's why I like them so much - I have needed that extra clearance and it helps alot even on the MX tracks........if you call, talk to Erik - he's really nice!

XC guy will tell you the ARS FX setups are the best money can buy but it is rather $$$$

Jeremiah Jones used to run them on his YFZ for MX also....

the arsfx is a bargain actually, compared to something like a roll/elka set up, the ars fx is a very competitive price.

I thought the Aarm/Shock set up seemed pretty reasonable and they support LT Axis already so I MIGHT go that route...I would like to price the Arms by themselves to see first, hopefully there Customer Service is good

So a freind of mine told me You order your shock to match your arms,so it sounds like any of these Aarms will still work???

parkers30
12-13-2005, 08:45 AM
the advantage of the ARS FX setup with axis is that Axis developed the a-arms so they have alot fo R&D into setting up a shock correctly to go with them. From what I hear you buy the setup from Zbroz and sometimes it can be a pain....

Why do you want a 20" shock. You should get the shock length required for your a arms. I think epic is like 19 3/4" or something like that. Personaly I wouldn't buy arms from them, but that is just my opinion. Try calling them direct.
If you want a good quality a-arm set with great knowledgeable service call eric at (619) 448 3738 or visit their website at http://www.ratedxmotorsports.com
