Got a 2002 Prairie 650 that will not rev out. It'll only run about 45 now.. It used to run 68-69. If anyone can help, I appreciate it! Thanks!

i had a similar problem with my prairy mine is a 2002 demo and i had it going 100 km/h when we first bought it then it did only like 50-60 km/h after the motor had been blown and rebuilt and just latly it starting acting liek it blew again but this time it only had water in the gas the kawasaki dealer took the ike in and drained the gas but the guy also put a new belt on it and took the clutches apart and cleaned them now the bike is working amazing in the bottom end it works how it is supose to down low but when i hit like 75-80 it just slowly climbs up to 90 and that's as fast as it wil go if u find a fix for this problem let me know

I have a friend with an 02 P650 and it also tops out at about 50 mph. It pulls hard untill then and it just hits a wall about 45 or so and then SLOWLY climbs up to just over 50 and that is it. He has a Penland slip on, rejetted, air box vents, and a new Dayco (I think) belt.
